Requests for the Convention to be held in Nagasaki, the A-bombed city of Japan

This year's convention will be held in Nagasaki, a city with a special historical background as the site of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. Nagasaki is a city where many precious lives were lost by the atomic bomb on August 9, 1945, and it is still an important place for us to talk about the preciousness of peace.

We at PJF believe that it is our important responsibility to respect the history and culture of the host city through sports.

We would like to ask for your understanding and cooperation in the following points.

Wearing clothing or goods with words or designs that remind people of atomic bombs or war (e.g., “PIKA,” “BOMB,” “EXPLOSION,” etc.) may unintentionally hurt the feelings of local residents and A-bomb survivors. Please be considerate in your clothing and cheering items.
