~ Constructed by Our Company: Japan's Largest 20-Court Pickleball Facility Opens in Izu ~

■ Announcement A new 20-court pickleball facility, the largest of its kind in Japan, has been completed at "Izu Resort Villa," an accommodation and leisure facility operated by Izu Bio Park Co., Ltd. (located in Higashi-Izu Town, Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture). To mark the start of its operations, an opening ceremony will be held at the facility.
Pickleball is an emerging racket sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. As a sport that people of all ages and genders can enjoy, it has been rapidly spreading across the country in recent years. The opening of this facility is expected to contribute to the further promotion of health, sports advancement, and tourism in the Izu region, as well as serve as a hub for hosting national-level tournaments and training camps.
On the day of the event, in addition to local government officials, we plan to hold a special trial session featuring Sugimoto from our federation (PJ), alongside Coach Sugiyama, Coach Hoshiya, and Coach Matsuda. We aim to broadly share the appeal and fun of the sport and encourage our visitors to experience it firsthand. Please invite your neighbors and feel free to join us.
