In response to many requests from players saying "We want advanced players to join too!", we are adding new categories to the RUSUTSU Pickleball Open 2026.
These exciting and thrilling challenge categories follow the same rules that were a huge hit at the Honolulu Mayor's Cup. You can also participate in both the doubles and individual events! We hope you will consider entering.
【New Categories】
■ Intermediate-Advanced Individual: Individual Random Match (Intermediate-Advanced)
👤 Individual entry accepted (open to all genders)
🔄 Full round-robin format — face a different opponent every game
⏱ Time-based format for a fast-paced, rhythmic game flow
The biggest appeal is entering solo and competing against a different opponent each game. A category for intermediate to advanced players looking for new encounters and fresh challenges.
■ Beginner Individual: Individual Random Match (Beginner)
👤 Individual entry accepted (open to all genders)
🔄 Full round-robin format — face a different opponent every game
⏱ Time-based format for a fast-paced, rhythmic game flow
Perfect even for first-time tournament players. An individual category where beginners can enjoy meeting and playing with a variety of fellow players.
※ Participation in both doubles and individual events is also available.
