2nd RPO Coaching Class

Thank you for your continued cooperation with PJF activities. In order to further popularize and internationalize pickleball in Japan, PJF will provide opportunities for people in Japan to obtain international coaching qualifications. The first coaching class was held in December and was well received.

There are several coaching systems in the United States, but RPO has built a coaching system on a global scale, and it is a prestigious, high-level coaching system in which those with the highest level of L3 qualification can teach PPA's top professionals.

With other coaching qualifications, once you have earned them, you are stuck with that qualification unless you take the next level, which can mean your knowledge falls behind on new rules and strategies.

Even after obtaining RPO, regular updates and continued education are provided starting from level 1. The coaching staff is also the best in the world, with Collin Johns (older brother and doubles partner of Ben Jones. Currently ranked number one in the PPA doubles rankings.) and Josh Jenkins (PPA professional player, member of Team Joola, RPO Chief Education Advisor) not only supervising but also actually teaching.

The first batch was held on December 16th and 17th, and was limited to only those recommended by the team, All Japan players, and PJF partner organizations, due to limited numbers. This is the second batch. The details are as follows. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and you will be notified as soon as the date is decided. RPO Coaching Lesson Level 1

Date and Time:

Scheduled for February 2025

Location: Shibuya Ward Futako Tamagawa Community Sports Facility Athletic Field

cost:

Annual membership fee is US$199, Level 1 training fee is US$199, total is US$398 plus tax (However, if you pay the RPO annual membership fee, you will receive one Joola paddle worth US$280, an RPO original Joola bag worth US$70, and an RPO coach's cap worth US$30, total of US$380.)

Eligibility: 3.5 or higher level, PJF individual member

Course: Level 1

Content: Online course: Approximately 6-8 hours (2-6 hours of self-study. Online courses come with Japanese subtitles or translations). Post-course check test (85% or more understanding required)

Practical training: Practical training by main coach Josh (about 5-7 hours on the court) with qualification test. (Japanese interpretation available) *Only those who have completed the online course can take the practical training.

Those who pass the exam will be awarded the international coaching qualification L1 license by the RPO. L1 will be able to teach pickleball beginners to intermediate level students. In addition, PJF will dispatch you as a regular coach upon request.

The next session will be held as soon as it is decided. If you register using the form below, you will be given priority when the date is confirmed. This registration will also be used as a waiting list in case of cancellations in the December session.

Please apply via Google Form. We will send you a payment link from here. Your spot will be secured once payment is completed. There are no refunds for customer reasons. (Class fees can be carried over to the next time.)

Even if you are able to submit the form, if the class is full due to time differences, you will be given first priority for the next class.
