with Traditional Healing Culture and Destination-Based Pickleball Exchange

Notice of Call for Proposals:
Selection of a Contractor for the "Wellness Tourism Project Integrating Yamaguchi's Unique Scenic Beauty, Hot Springs, and Cuisine with Traditional Healing Culture and Destination-Based Pickleball"
 

We sincerely appreciate your continued support and understanding of the activities of our federation.
 

We are pleased to announce that our federation will implement the "Wellness Tourism Project Integrating Yamaguchi's Unique Scenic Beauty, Hot Springs, and Cuisine with Traditional Healing Culture and Destination-Based Pickleball" in FY2025 (Reiwa 7).

To ensure the smooth and effective execution of this project, we will select a contractor through a competitive proposal (RFP) process.

 

We hereby invite proposals as outlined below and encourage your participation.

1. Overview of the Work

(1) Name of the Commissioned Work
Implementation of the "Wellness Tourism Project Integrating Yamaguchi's Unique Scenic Beauty, Hot Springs, and Cuisine with Traditional Healing Culture and Destination-Based Pickleball"

 

(2) Description of the Work
This project aims to effectively combine Yamaguchi's long-standing traditions of healing and health tourism with the high-potential destination sport of pickleball. It includes the development of “Pickleball Tourism Ambassadors” (tentative title), discovery and refinement of new content, commercialization, and building a sales framework.

(3) Contract Period
From the date of contract signing to January 30, 2026 (Reiwa 8)

 

(4) Maximum Budget
3,451,000 JPY (excluding consumption tax and local consumption tax)

 

2. Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:

  1. Registered as a travel agency under Article 3 of the Travel Agency Act, and licensed to conduct operations under Article 1-2, Paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Travel Agency Act (i.e., Type I or Type II travel agency).
     

  2. Has a head office, branch, or business office located within Yamaguchi Prefecture.
     

  3. Has not filed for civil rehabilitation (under the Civil Rehabilitation Act, Act No. 225 of 1999) or corporate reorganization (under the Corporate Reorganization Act, Act No. 154 of 2002).
