1. Core Philosophy and Purpose
The Japan Pickleball Federation (PJF) aims to:

Contribute to the physical and mental well-being of the public and enhance physical fitness.
2. Vision for 2035

Pickleball will be widely recognized and enjoyed across all generations and regions throughout Japan.

Japan will become an official member of the international federation, with its national teams actively participating in Asian and world tournaments.

PJF will become a central hub of a sports community that values diversity and inclusion.
3. Mid-Term Plan (2025–2027)
(1) Promotion and Membership Expansion

Significantly increase both individual and club memberships by enhancing membership programs with discounts and special offers

Host regular trial sessions and events in major and regional cities nationwide

Promote awareness through collaborations with schools, local governments, and companies
(2) Development of Competitive Environment

Expand pickleball courts across the country in cooperation with municipalities and private facilities

Develop a systematic referee and coach training program, and launch certification systems

Establish and expand major tournaments, including:

National Championships in Ariake

Japan Open in regional cities

Japan League centered around club teams

Asian Games and other official championships

(3) Internationalization and Competitive Excellence

Become an official member of the International Federation of Pickleball (IFP), and actively dispatch athletes to global tournaments

(1) Dramatic Growth in Participant Numbers

Reach a core player population of 400,000 by 2030, and 1 million by 2035

Establish clubs in all 47 prefectures and ensure the sustainability of regional tournaments
(2) Competitive Level and Global Standing

Win podium placements in global tournaments

Establish Japan as a leading country in the Asian pickleball community
