Report on Compliance with the Japan Sports Association’s Guidelines on Ethics
1. Basic Policy on Ethics
The Japan Pickleball Federation (hereinafter “the Federation”) places “ensuring ethics in sport” at the core of its organizational management and competitive activities. In accordance with the spirit of the Guidelines on Sports Ethics of the Japan Sports Association and the Basic Act on Sport, the Federation has implemented the following measures.
2. Development of Ethical Regulations
The Federation has established the following ethical regulations:

Prohibition of Discrimination and Respect for Human Rights (Code of Ethics, Article 3)
All forms of discrimination based on race, gender, religion, disability, etc. are strictly prohibited, and the fundamental human rights of all individuals are respected. -
Anti-Harassment Framework (Articles 4 and 14)
All forms of harassment, including power and sexual harassment, are prohibited. A reporting system has been established to protect whistleblowers. -
Ensuring Fairness and Integrity (Article 5)
Acts that compromise the fairness of sport—such as match-fixing, biased officiating, or violence—are prohibited. Ethical education is provided to ensure sincere conduct. -
Protection of Minors and Prohibition of Violence (Articles 6 and 10)
Emphasis is placed on the sound development of youth. Corporal punishment and acts of violence are strictly prohibited. -
Severance of Ties with Antisocial Forces (Article 7)
All relationships with antisocial groups are strictly prohibited, and this policy applies to all personnel. -
Transparent Governance and Accountability (Articles 11–13)
Governance transparency is ensured through the prevention of conflicts of interest and clear policies on personal information management.
3. Anti-Doping System
The Federation has established an anti-doping framework in accordance with the Japan Pickleball Federation Anti-Doping Regulations, which comply with the standards set by JADA (Japan Anti-Doping Agency) and WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency).

Prohibition of Doping (Article 4)
Violations such as use, possession, or distribution of prohibited substances are strictly prohibited, and a firm policy is clearly stated. -
Education and Awareness Activities (Article 5)
Regular educational and awareness activities, including e-learning, are conducted to raise awareness among athletes and coaches. -
Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE) (Article 6)
Medical treatments are handled properly based on JADA standards when a TUE is required. -
Testing, Procedures, and Sanctions System (Articles 7–12)
A comprehensive framework is in place for testing via accredited laboratories, enforcing disciplinary measures for violations, and public disclosure when necessary.
