In order to promote regional collaboration and awareness of the "PJF Pickleball Open Sasebo in Nagasaki," scheduled to be held from June 20th to 22nd, 2025, PJF Chairman Hayashi will pay a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Sasebo and the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on March 5th and hold a pickleball trial session.
This tournament aims to utilize the experience and know-how gained from the huge success of the PJF Pickleball Championships 2024, held in Ariake, Tokyo in December 2024, which welcomed 700 players from 13 countries, and contribute to the local economy and tourism promotion.
In addition, with the cooperation of the US Navy Sasebo Base, a friendship event will be held to deepen the bonds of friendship between Japan and the US. As a place for international exchange through sports, it will create connections between the local community and overseas players.
