Branch Regulations

(Name)
Article 1
This organization shall be referred to as the [Name] Branch of the Japan Pickleball Federation (PJF).

 

(Secretariat)

Article 2
The secretariat of this organization shall be located at the residence of the Branch President.

 

(Purpose)

Article 3
This organization, in accordance with the statutes of the Japan Pickleball Federation and its branches, aims to promote the sound development of pickleball as a sport.

 

(Activities)

Article 4
To achieve the purpose stated in the preceding article, this organization shall carry out the following activities:

 

  1. Deliberation on operations and competitions

  2. Awareness-raising and promotional events

  3. Operation of tournaments

  4. Liaison with related organizations

  5. Other activities necessary to fulfill the organization’s purpose
     

(Structure)

Article 5
This organization shall be composed of individuals and sport-related groups residing in or near [Region] and [Neighboring Region].

 

(Officers and Positions)

Article 6
The organization shall include the following officers and one Secretary-General:

 

  1. President – 1 person

  2. Vice Presidents – 2 persons

  3. Board Members – several persons

  4. Advisors – several persons

  5. Secretary-General – 1 person
     

(Selection of Officers)

Article 7
Officers shall be selected as follows:

 

  1. The President and Vice Presidents shall be recommended by the Board of Officers.

  2. Board Members shall be selected from the individuals and organizations defined in Article 5.

  3. Advisors and the Secretary-General shall be appointed by the President.
     

(Term of Office)

Article 8
The term of office for officers shall be two years. Reappointment is not prohibited.

 

(Board of Officers)

Article 9
The Board of Officers shall be constituted as follows:

 

  1. The Board shall be convened when deemed necessary by the President. If two-thirds or more of the officers request it, the President must convene a board meeting.

  2. The Board shall not be considered valid unless at least half of the officers are present.

  3. At least one meeting shall be held each year, at which the following matters shall be decided:

    1. Matters related to business plans

    2. Matters related to budgets and financial statements

    3. Matters related to the organization’s annual schedule
       

(Income)

Article 10
The expenses necessary for operating the organization shall be covered by the following sources:

 

  1. Grants

  2. Donations

  3. Registration fees

  4. Sponsorship contracts

(Expenditures)

Article 11
In principle, expenditures related to the organization’s operations shall be carried out based on resolutions of the Board of Officers.

 

(Fiscal Year)

Article 12
The fiscal year of the organization shall run from April 1 to March 31 of the following year.

 

(Supplementary Provisions)

These regulations shall come into effect on April 1, 2025 (Reiwa 7).
